Jeff and Julie Gandy are most well-known for their wedding photography , capturing heartfelt moments throughout the day .
A lot of people think of an artist as just someone who draws , but obviously photography is an art in itself .

Their complementary strengths are key to their success . Julie manages much of the scheduling and coordination on the wedding day , including organizing the bridal party for photos . Jeff , meanwhile , takes a more photojournalistic approach , capturing emotions as they naturally unfold to create an authentic and heartfelt story of the day .

“ We have to remind ourselves a lot of times that we are artists as well ,” stated Julie . “ A lot of people think of an artist as just someone who draws , but obviously photography is an art in itself .”
It is clear that creativity runs deep in the family . Their daughter , Hannah Wacter , has inherited a passion for art that they have nurtured since she was young . But their encouragement did not alone shape her artistic journey . Her uncle , Jeff ’ s brother , played a pivotal role .
Hannah ’ s uncle , Richard Gandy , a talented portrait and landscape artist , played a significant role in her artistic journey . Over the years , he took a special interest in her work , offering guidance and serving as a mentor , helping to nurture her skills and passion for art . As they continue their journey , Jeff and his wife hope to inspire others — whether it is couples on their wedding day , aspiring photographers , or young artists like their daughter . For the Gandy family , that philosophy has proven to be the foundation of their creative and professional success .
