Sara Kamppi is a fan of reading and is serving within her childhood library system as the Youth Services Librarian . She is hoping to recreate the magic she felt going to the library as a child through local students and new children visitors .
Last year , the library hosted a successful Kwanzaa celebration . Kamppi wants to expand that celebration into a Winter Expo or Winter Spectacular event . Families with children or teenagers , aged 1 to 18 , are invited to the seasonal activities and events . The library is still finalizing all the details for the full Winter celebration , Kamppi said . Guests can look forward to music , potential food trucks and holiday themed-projects .
