A PONCHO-FREE RAINY DAY PACKING LIST As my parents and brother ran for cover , I stood there for a moment. Looking up , through one of the shop windows , I noticed a violin playing by itself. It was a detail that I hadn’t expected to see. I started to look around and , suddenly , it felt like the park guests beside me were locals in a town that I was just discovering. The rain gave Harry Potter World a level of authenticity that I hadn’t expected to experience until that moment. When something unexpected happens on vacation , you have a few choices. 1. Try to salvage what’s left of your Plan A. 2. Retreat. Head indoors. 3. Go with it. #3 is easier to do when you plan ahead of time.
