KEVIN POWELL is releasing WHEN WE FREE THE WORLD, a documentary film on manhood. The film addresses patriarchy, sexism, misogyny, homophobia, and transphobia and challenges destructive and worn definitions of manhood that push violence in all forms. It looks very honestly at why this behavior must change, and how, while also offering new ways to define manhood that are healthy and life-affirming.
STAR STONE’ s # MeToo is a onewoman show which is based on Star’ s real life experience with sexual assault and domestic violence. Using parody musical numbers and over 30 original characters, it advocates for bodily autonomy, choice and reproductive justice. # MeToo uses storytelling as a vehicle to advocate for survivor voices and for the safety of all femaleidentified, trans and non-binary individuals.
