WOMEN ' S CENTRE FOR LEGAL AID AND COUNSELING( WCLAC)- the grant will provide 200 Palestinian women and 60 youth victims of GBV,
ages 20-45 years old, with psychosocial and legal consultations. Political instability and movement restrictions imposed by Israeli military rules expose women to different forms of violence and hinder their accessibility to available services. WCLAC addressed this by providing psychosocial support to women victims of GBV through their branch offices in Hebron, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, and Ramallah and extends this support through a free helpline and social media platforms to ensure the provision of the services despite movement restrictions. Additionally, WCLAC engages young men and women through volunteer groups, young professional journalists, and lawyers in community mobilizations to raise public awareness on protection and women ' s rights. WLCAC engages in advocacy through international fora to end military aggression on Gaza, document testimonies on the gendered impact of Israeli violations of IHL and IHRL, and present evidence-based data to hold Israel accountable and influence international duty bearers to halt military aggression and various violations against Palestinian women, especially sexual violence, sexual and reproductive health, internal displacement, and other related issues.
