They work with the village of Kalebuka in the Democratic Republic of Congo to provide electricity , clean water , and educational facilities . Malaika ’ s community-driven model utilizes a comprehensive , local approach which starts with education . Led by longtime V-Day partner Noella Coursaris Musunka , Malaika started a school in 2011 which serves 370 girls with free primary and secondary education .
