V20: THE RED PARTY IN NYC
On 14 February, V-Board members and supporters celebrated V20 at a sold-out benefit
performance of Eve’s show In The Body of The World at the Manhattan Theatre Club followed
by THE RED PARTY at Carnegie Hall. Iconic images of the movement curated – and in most
cases photographed – by Paula Allen set the tone for the celebration and the décor, evoking
the past, present and future of V-Day. Special guests included Thandie Newton, Glenn Close,
Dylan McDermott, Maggie Q, Kathy Najimy and Emma Myles. The ArchDuke performed a
new song written especially for the movement and entitled, “Dismantle,” and DJ Natasha
provided the soundtrack for the evening. V-Day raised over $200K for our work.
