Through PRSSA, Britnee Bromley Neuhring was able to land an exciting internship focusing on the Roots of Knowledge project on campus. In this article, she gives us on insight on how she has utalized social media throughout the experience.

"PRSSA landed me an amazing internship with Thatcher+Co PR Firm based out of NYC on the Roots of Knowledge project here at UVU. Throughout the experience, I have gained & sharpened many skills in the PR industry, but have probably enjoyed my strategic online engagement projects the most. A few weeks ago, I hosted the first ever UVU Facebook Live event which resulted in a reach of over 54,000 viewers! After that experience I was asked to

write a blog about the ROK

project from the perspective

of a UVU student. That blog is

now live on the university

website and promoted by the

University Relations/ROK

team. It has been an incredible resume building and engaged learning experience and I am anxious to apply what I have learned about social media planning and productions to future projects post gradation."

We have many new and exciting internships focused on social media posted on our website at uvuprssa.org under the 'get involved' tab. This week's internship spotlights: Draper City, Fusion 360, and KSL.com
