The Minca 18 has a maximum speed of 35 km / h and can travel up a maximum gradient of 45 %.
Typical setups include a 3,000 litre diesel tank ; 3,000 litre water tank with spray bar ; lube truck with tanks for different oils , waste oil and grease ; and quick service truck with workshop on-board including welder , air compressor , etc , with or without a platform and crane .
The Minca 18 can be equipped with an additional four-seat cabin that allows bigger maintenance teams ( six in total ) to travel to site .
For small amounts of ANFO , the Minca 18 is also available as a charging vehicle , featuring ANFO pot , air compressor and telescopic work platform .
Depending on regional or customer requirements Tier 3 to Tier 4 Final / EU Stage V emission standard engines can be accommodated , while the Minca 18 is also offered in battery-electric form . The vehicle is also available in a flameproof version for explosive atmospheres .
Offering underground support
Already established as a hard-rock mining stalwart , the range of Elphinstone WR810 vehicles has recently been added to with the new WR810 Delivery with crane that , the company says , adds another support application to its expanding underground support fleet .
The WR810 is a highly configurable , 10-t nominal base platform , comprising a scissor lift , agitator ( 6 cu . m ), fuel and lube truck , and water cannon .

The fully integrated Hiab X-HiDuo 092 “ optimal performance ” loader crane features a rated lifting capacity of 8.8 tonne metres and a 7.7-m outreach , providing a reliable solution for day-to-day heavy lifting .
Operated by manual lever control or wireless joystick remote , the operator can manoeuvre loads from a distance with built-in intelligence and automatic speed control for safe and effective load handling , the company said .
Safety features include emergency crane stops on the manual control station and wireless joystick remote , stabiliser legs with levelling sensors that offer easy pack-up for safe transit , a checker plate deck featuring logically positioned tie-down points , and three-point access with high visibility green handrails and ladders on both sides .
The C7.1 ACERT™ Tier 4 Final / EU Stage V emission standard engine arrangement is optional , offering a dual horsepower configuration set at 151 kW . The lower reduced ventilation rating at 129 kW is possible through a simple software change performed by a Caterpillar dealer .
The C7.1 ACERT Tier 3 engine arrangement , rated at 168 kW , is the standard option for regions with less stringent emission regulations . Matched to the engine is a Cat five-speed ( threespeed reverse ) transmission fitted with a lock-up torque converter .
Downtime during service and maintenance is reduced through some clever engineering and design features , according to Elphinstone .
Quick change air filters and 500-hour oil service intervals also reduce downtime and keep machines operating for longer with greater productivity , the company said . The on-board warning and protection system continuously checks all critical machine functions for early warning and fast fault finding , all recorded for analysis .
