Jeffery believes also that music is healing, so he volunteers and gives back to the community through non-profits like Think2Twice.org that advocates for positive changes for the residents of Greenville, S.C. Most recently he has performed at these venues: June 2013 special performance at the Empowerment Zone “Out of Bondage” tribute to Domestic Violence. July 2013 the 3rd Annual Sundresses & Khakis Affair honoring John Wilkins who passed away earlier this year from complications of pancreatic cancer, this is a fundraiser for breast, pancreatic & prostate cancer research.
Jeffery credits his musical gift to his father, the late legendary Johnny C. Redmond. His goal is to mine the struggle and the beauty of South Carolina. His aim in his music is to deliver a positive message. His musical range runs the gamut from inspirational, motivational to hip-hop. Jeffery recently completed his fifth CD “The Jeffery Lee Project" released 2014 available for preview and purchase online.
