Jeffery Redmond dubbed, J-Reddy began playing music under the tutelageof his father, Johnny C. Redmond. His dad was a beloved Upstate musician that played jazz, blues and gospel. He played the majority of his life for Bethlehem Baptist Church while in the area. Enlisted Air Force he toured the world playing piano in various bands. Jeffery gained his musical skill and ear from his father as he assisted him since the age of two playing the bongos. Jeff continued his musical career at Bethlehem Baptist Church also when he began playing the violin and singing in the church choir. Jeffery began his own band at age fifteen while attending Woodmont High School. It was titled the Virtue/The New Breed. By 2003, he debuted his album Solid Foundation. He has opened up for the S.O.S Band and has performed at Handlebar on numerous occasions. He has also headlined at The Brown Street Club. Jeff has performed countless other local venues and festivals in Greenville. His work has aired on 107.3. He prides himself on making music that audiences love to hear."
