EPs are cool because you only need so much music, and you can make it top notch. You don’t necessarily have to worry about what the single will be. You can do a whole EP of singles. People don’t have to wait for the music. Nobody wants to wait. If you have new music, they still want more in a few months.

U.G. Digital Mag: It’s like we’re on the same page with that. I love EPs because they serve as the opportunity to wrangle up the hottest joints. The best albums to me are like ten songs or less. Basically like an EP.

I was instantly moved by the EP. The last time we spoke, I was saying how I felt you had grown so much and I loved the super-confident vibe. It’s the same here. How much time went into preparation, considering you dropped The Rise of the Phoenix last September, and the Christmas album not too long after.

Chanté Moore: You can count, right (laughing). There’s only a few months left out of that where I wasn’t working.

It really did happen very well. The assistant producer and I, Ronnie Jackson, worked together very well, and our writing team .. we’re having such a great time. I just loved working and made an EP.

U.G. Digital Mag: I think it’s dope. "One Love" with Lewis Sky is really dope. For as many people there are that know him, there’s a lot who haven’t caught on, and this was awesome to showcase you both.
