Research Group
The City Futures Research Centre is a leading authority on compact city planning policy and the development , management , governance , and planning implications of apartment buildings and estates . This includes a particular focus on private strata-titled ( condominium ) developments , with research covering property title and ownership structures , estate management , new developments , urban renewal and redevelopment , building upgrades , and resident relationships .
The Centre ’ s research has been presented at parliamentary inquiries , informed legislative reform , used in professional training , and referred to in international legal deliberations and inquiries . Additionally , the centre produces the bi-annual Strata Insights Report , which is widely used by industry , government , and academics in Australia and New Zealand .
The group ’ s research has also created information , tools , and resources for managers and residents of strata-titled properties to enhance and improve the quality of their buildings .
