Advise from Sister Keep It Real
When I thought of this column, I had no idea that people would really write in
but they did! So here is the advice that was given and believe Sister Keep It
Real –did just that!
I have been in a relationship with my high school sweetheart for five years. He is my first and
only lover. During a recent gyn check-up I found out that I have the herpes. I confronted him
immediately and he swears that he doesn't have it. A couple of weeks later while drowning
my sorrows with Margarita’s I also found out that my best friend has herpes. I had a suspicion
that they were cheating with each other. Now I don't know what to do. Is my mind playing
tricks on me? Who will want me with this? My life is ruined. I want to kill them both! What
should I do?

Dear Confused and Depressed,
This is a tough situation. First go back to your doctor and get the best care and take your
medicine as prescribed. It could be worst and had given you something that would've killed
you immediately, but life will go on. Your life is not ruined and you will be surprised, someone will want you. Statistics show many people suffer with this virus so the next time you go
out in public just count the first ten people you see and at least one or two of those ten have
the same virus. As for the girlfriend the only way you can prove it is with a lie detector test
and neither of them are worth it. Cry, pray and cut both of them off!! Live out your dreams
and move on with your life.
