The race for the top spot is hotting up as it looks to be down to a three horse race now, with Arsenal hitting a run of bad form. Both Manchester City and Liverpool are now in a position that if they win every remaining game, they will lift the 2014 trophy. With both teams still having to play each other, it could prove to be the biggest and most pivotal game this season. Man City sit in third place at the moment but their two games in hand over Liverpool and Chelsea give them a significant advantage. With doubts over Chelsea’s playing style and whether they can score goals against their main rivals when it matters; it looks like the title will be going back to Manchester or Merseyside.
The competition for 4th seems to be down to two horses as Everton chase Arsenal. The Toffee’s could go above the North Londoners if they manage to win their game in hand; however they have an extremely tough end to the season. Tottenham’s chances seem to have been and gone; they will need to win every game remaining if they are to even put their name in the mix.
