Masters of primary schools and upper primary schools in
the districts to implement the subject specific teacher
responsibility in all primary schools and primary sections
of upper primary schools in the districts while preparing
the timetable. The RJD SEs in the state are also requested
to monitor this change for effective implementation of
curriculum and textbooks. The training to the in-service
teachers shall be focused on the subjects chosen by the
teachers.

classes are to be considered as two schools i.e.,
primary school (I to V) and Upper Primary School
(VI to VII)for sanction of maintenance grant.However,
it should not exceed the approvedbudget.
Utilization:
The grant shall be utilized for the following items as per
the priority shown below.
i Payment of electricity bills per month for
primary for upper primary and upper primary
sections of high schools.
i Maintenance of toilets: Not exceeding Rs.400/per school, either on outsourcing basis or by
hiring a local person.
i Maintenance of dringking water facility.
