The Department of Pharmacology and Pharmaceutics strongly supports excellence in teaching various aspects of pharmacology, toxicology and neuroscience to students undertaking degrees in Pharmacy, Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences. Current areas of research investigation in the Department include receptor pharmacology, signal transduction pathways, neuropharmacology, drug addiction studies, drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics, |
pharmacogenomics, drug utilization studies, drug targeting studies and drug formulation. Our strategic positioning enables a wealth of potential opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration with local, regional, and international investigators in biomedical research. |
