College of Pharmacy
The College of Pharmacy aims to graduate highly competent pharmacists who can make a positive change in the community through proper pharmaceutical practices and improving healthcare services. Our education is provided according to international standards, while maintaining the traditions and identity of the UAE society.
The College of Pharmacy was established in 2004, and since then has witnessed and continues to possess important milestones in its academic and infrastructural development. We provide specialty laboratories, that are tailored to hands-on training for pharmacy students, in addition to computer-simulation based learning. Future plans include a state-of-the-art research building, wellequipped research and media laboratories, and a hospital for clinical training.
The College includes well-equipped laboratories and faculty members specialized in all areas of the pharmaceutical sciences and supervising the teaching of over 300 national and international students.
In response to the evolving healthcare environment, the College updates its pharmacy curriculum on a continuous basis. We are pioneering the transformation of the pharmacist’ s role from being traditionally productoriented to being patientcare focused and view the pharmacist as an integral part of the healthcare provider team.
