The College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences has become renowned throughout the Gulf and the Middle East for its engaging learning environment and as a premier center of excellence in teaching, community-based research, creative activities, and outreach services. The College fosters the development of leadership skills to produce future leaders to be active partners in the social, cultural and economic development of their communities.
As the largest and most diverse academic unit in the University, our College serves all undergraduate students through general education courses and offers a wide variety of graduate and undergraduate programs in the arts, humanities and social sciences. The College promotes ethical development based on Arab and Islamic values, and seeks to instill the habits of learning, creative thinking, and confident communication, while building effective collaborations and providing service to the community.
