Innovative Programs
The University continuously strives to enhance existing programs and to develop new and innovative programs through incorporating the latest technology in teaching and expanding student opportunities beyond the classroom.
NEW PROGRAMS
The University of Sharjah has introduced a number of new bachelor programs including a Bachelor in Information Technology( Multimedia, Networks, and Business), Bachelor of Science in Finance( Business Finance and Islamic Investment), Bachelor of Science in Sustainable / Renewable Energy Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology. Several new graduate degree programs will also be available including a Master’ s in Molecular Medicine, Master’ s in Special Education, and PhD programs in medicine, law and Islamic studies.

Faculty members are chosen for the leadership they demonstrate in their fields of study and research. In addition, the University provides continuous specialized training for faculty and administrative staff so they may provide the highest quality education and help produce top-qualified graduates to serve the community. A number of UOS professors have received regional, national and international acclaim for their groundbreaking research and excellence in teaching.
