The University takes pride in being a major international center for learning, culture, and education where East meets West and North meets South. Founded In 1997, the University of Sharjah was founded by his Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the UAE, Ruler of Sharjah, Founder and Supreme President of the University.

Campus The UOS campus spans 3 square kilometers in area and is part of the University City, located on the outskirts of Sharjah, five minutes away from Sharjah International Airport.
