At UNSW Law & Justice we have a distinctive teaching tradition based on discussion and debate . In our law degrees , we never teach through large lectures – all our classes are conducted in small-group , interactive seminars . The closer to the beginning of your degree , the smaller the seminar , to ensure a strong foundation in the law .
In our Bachelor of Criminology & Criminal Justice we prioritise innovative teaching and work-integrated learning . That means you ’ ll benefit from real-world case studies , visiting courts and prisons and hearing first-hand from the people involved in the justice system through guest presenters .
Working across three schools , our academics are engaged in research and teaching that set the benchmark for innovative education worldwide . We are proud to :
> Prioritise experiential learning : we offer a wide range of clinic and internship opportunities to our students .
> Offer high-quality , online learning experiences for our students , with the latest in innovative , rich , dynamic , multimedia content .
> Have teachers who are former judges , industry professionals , international scholars and award-winning lecturers . In our criminology programs , we feature those with lived experience of the criminal justice system .
