Poster Authors Dr Caitlin Healy is an education-focused lecturer in the school of Materials Science and Engineering . She has been lecturing since 2019 and has focused on the redevelopment of the first-year tutorials . Caitlin ’ s previous educational experience includes the restructuring of the undergraduate and postgraduate materials courses to align with the UNSW 3 + strategy .
Dr Judy Hart is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Materials Science and Engineering . She is passionate about materials science education , and has been involved in several projects developing online resources for undergraduate courses , including a digital uplift project for 1st year materials science , as well as high school teacher training . She received a Vice-Chancellor ’ s Teaching Award for Contributions to Student Learning in 2016 .
John Daniels has been at UNSW since 2010 and has taken an active role in large-class service teaching courses in the School Materials Science and Engineering since then . He has a particular interest in introductory courses to Materials Science where students tend to have little or no background in the subject area .
