Learn More
Challenge
Health systems and policymakers urgently need evidence to guide better care with limited resources. However, they face a flood of fragmented, increasingly complex data from multiple sources, including clinical records, imaging, genomics and administrative systems. The centre helps make sense of this data overload, transforming it into actionable insights that drive real-world improvements in care.
Solution
The Centre for Big Data Research in Health develops advanced methods in AI, statistics, and real-world evidence generation to unlock the value of complex, linked health data. It creates privacy-preserving tools, common data models and secure research environments that support safe and scalable analytics.
Its innovations enable regulatory, clinical and policy end-users to generate actionable insights into health system performance, technologies and outcomes.
Sustainability is achieved through deep partnerships, co-design and integration into trusted national platforms and decision-making processes.
