Challenge
• traditional medical reporting of pandemics and epidemics is delayed, hindering the speed at which decision-makers can implement mitigation strategies.
• investment in pandemic planning focuses on drugs and vaccines that are administered after the infection has already spread.
Solution
EPIWATCH ® uses machine learning( ML) and AI to persistently monitor global data, including news casts, social platforms and medical reporting, to identify early signals of an outbreak prior to detection by health authorities. Where other data sources may be interrupted, censored, or unreliable, EPIWATCH ® keeps users in the picture with validated situational awareness. The aim is to give public and private sector decision-makers the best chance of preventing or mitigating an epidemic.
Target customers / end-users
