Campbell's Soup Cans (1962)
Campbell’s Soup Cans - Created by Warhol in 1962, this different piece of artwork make people wonder about how much time it took for this to be created. He got inspired to create this just from a grocery store. His process wasn’t perfect, though. He used a hand stamp to make the fleur-de-lis pattern that lines the bottom of the cans consistently. Warhol also used synthetic polymer paint as his medium.
Warhol died on February 22, 1987 in Manhattan, New York. Although, his amazing art legacy will still live on. He inspires artists everywhere as he innovated the Pop/Modern art period.
