Madison Stinsman * Stressors and Needs of Nursing Students Nursing students have intense course loads that can cause many stressors to their personal lives . This presentation will examine the stressors experienced by nursing students and what they identify as needing more care in their personal lives as a result . Reflection on self-care activities to help meet these needs for a small group of current nursing students will be highlighted .
Aidee Trejo-Mora + Art is MY Therapy This presentation will explore the benefits of art in our everyday lives . Specifically , I will discuss how art can promote well-being for people of all ages . Discussion will focus on different types of art activities and include reflection on two art sessions I conducted with two age groups : younger adults and older adults .
Ciara Willams + The Effect of COVID-19 on Child Care Providers This study will explore the hardships of being a childcare provider in the pandemic , including their experience pre-pandemic , during the pandemic , and in the current “ new normal .” I will consider how providers find time for selfcare amidst the stressors of the pandemic . Discussion will include information from interviews with caretakers working with children ages six months to eleven years old .
