Leigh Herzberger , Alicia Keller , Meghan Tyman , Brianna Zinni , and Elizabeth Weekley Show and Tell : Implementing the Community-based Older Adult Reminiscence Program Show and Tell is a program focusing on exploring the effects of reminiscence on improving one ’ s perceived wellbeing . This program is geared towards settings for older adults ages 50 +, for example , community centers , skilled nursing facilities , inpatient hospitals , residential or retirement communities , etc . Small group discussions and group activities are utilized in the implementation of this program .
Kaley Smith , Rachel Gebhart , Joanne Duong , and Sarah Lloyd The Effects of Yoga on Sleep The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of yoga and sleep hygiene practices on college students ’ sleeping habits and quality . A 10-week yoga program will be implemented to assist students in establishing positive routines and increased sleep quality and duration . The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and open-ended questions will assess the pre-and-post data results .
Daphne Caintic , Haley Connaughton , Avielle Fernand , and Laura Wismer Power of Play The purpose of our program “ Power of Play ” is to educate teachers on the different types of play , the benefits of each type of play , and effective ways to facilitate these play strategies in the classroom . We intend to present 10 content modules to incorporate in the classroom that details each type of play , corresponding directions , and developmental benefits .
Tyler Blair , Lauren Bouvia , Michele Vowler , and Candace Williams Implementing Mindfulness to Address Stress-Related Challenges Among Corporate Employees to Improve Occupational Performance in the Workplace The purpose of the Wellness and Health Promotion Program is to implement mindfulness sessions during an employee workday to assess if stress and productivity are significantly affected over a 10-week period . The program sessions incorporate evidence-based activities for mindfulness and stress reduction that include meditation , aromatherapy , coloring , utilizing green spaces , collage making , stretching , and reflection .
