This study will not only look at the physical strain but the mental effects as well . The goal of the study is to bring attention to front line workers needs physically and mentally .
Brandon Higgins The Importance of Kindness Studies have shown that compassion promotes the ability to connect and care for others and can even decrease depressive symptoms . This presentation will explore the many effects on mood that can result from engaging in acts of kindness . Discussion will include personal reflections from an ongoing project where I committed various acts of kindness for friends , family members , and strangers .

I will share the perspectives of different artists who have explained to me how their artwork represents happiness to them and what inspired them to create it in their own way .
Barri Johnson The Negative Stereotypes of Black Women in Popular Reality Television This presentation will explore reality television and how it places negative stereotypes on African American women . Specifically , Bravo ’ s hit franchise “ The Real Housewives ” will be considered in the context of scholarly research . The objective of the presentation is to highlight how Caucasian women are praised for aggressive behavior while African Americans are labeled as “ angry black women .”
