Concluding the Program At the conclusion of the program there will be a survey conducted that will examine the outcome of the fitness sessions. If the sessions helped rehabilitate any previous musculo- skeletal injuries, if their daily activities were easier to complete, if their mood was im- proved, if their social circle had gotten larger, and most importantly if they liked the pro- gram enough to stick with wheelchair basketball, or a physical fitness regimen. The conclusion of the program will provide the participants with the knowledge and skill set needed to change their perception on physical activity and increase their adherence to the prescribed program. Once the final session is completed they will be provided an exer- cise template that they will be able to continue to follow without the trainers assistance. The success of the program will be measured using a post-questionnaire to assess the knowledge gained. The success of the program will also be measured through the partici- pants continued participation in the wheelchair basketball games, as well as their contin- ued attendance at the university recreation center. Finally we will also be looking to see if their overall quality of life has improved from before the program to after completion of the program. Upon completion we will have an evaluation of the program as a whole to see which parts of the program worked well for the participants. This will allow for corrections or additions to be made for future use of the program. 17
