Preserving semiconductor history
Preserving semiconductor history
Thanks to the generous support of alumni who studied under Professors Nick Holonyak Jr. and Greg Stillman in the old Electrical Engineering Research Lab( EERL), MNTL created a dynamic display in the building’ s atrium in 2016 to showcase the scientific giants whose breakthroughs helped launch the information technology revolution, and ultimately made a facility like MNTL a necessity. This display aims to educate and encourage our students to strive to meet the high standards set by the likes of John Bardeen, Jack Kilby, C. T. Sah, and Nick Holonyak Jr.
