Fatigue is a common complaint that many people have. Believe it or not, many doctors recommend an increase in exercise as a solution for reducing fatigue and increasing energy levels. Added physical activity will also enhance your endurance and muscular strength, giving you more energy throughout the day. How does this work? When you improve your cardiovascular system, your body will work more efficiently. When your body works more efficiently, you will have an increase in energy. Even engaging in low to moderate activities such as a 15 minute walk can increase your energy levels. Studies conclude that motion creates motion, so once you get up and start moving, the more likely you are to keep moving. INCREASE IN MOOD Exercise is commonly known to be beneficial for the body, but that is not the only benefit that comes with it. One of the most effective ways to improve you mental health is through exercise. This will lead to a trickle-down effect and promote positive thoughts, better moods, and more self-confidence. When you exercise, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These endorphins interact with the receptors in your brain that reduce your perception of pain. Endorphins also trigger a positive feeling in the body, which leads to better self-esteem and confidence. With self-confidence you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
