Allow yourself to feel emotions. It’s ok to have bad days and feel a variety of emotions all at once. Dealing with grief can be a rollercoaster of emotions and that’s ok. Be sure to take time for self-care and not suppress what you’re feeling.
Talk to others when you need to. When grieving, it’s easy to assume that no one truly understands what you’re going through or to just remain closed off from others. However, talking to a friend, family member, pastor or counselor can play a big part in sorting out your own emotions.
