Kaiser’ s research at Monash focused on investigating the antidiabetic effects of licorice, a staple in traditional Chinese medicine. Using rat models of metabolic dysfunction, his work helped uncover how licorice may influence conditions like hypertension and insulin resistance. Kaiser went on to complete his PhD at the University of Cambridge and is currently a senior scientist at a biotech start-up in the UK. He aims to lead scientific innovation that advances human health.
