March – July 2021 Begin your research . Start making a shortlist of universities and courses that interest you . Visit UCAS exhibitions and book Open Days ( these may be virtual or in person ).
May 2021 You can start working on your UCAS application for 2022 entry .
June / July 2021 Attend Open Days .

Early September 2021 You can submit your application via UCAS .
October 2021 – July 2022 Offers and interviews . We start making offers in October . Most interviews are held between November and March .
October – December 2021 Attend Open Days .

Main UCAS Deadline 15 January 2022 This is the main deadline day for applications . You do not have to wait until this date – you can submit your application as soon as it ' s ready . CHECK : Note that some courses require applications as early as 15 October 2021 .
February – Early July 2022 UCAS Extra : Applicants who have not accepted an offer can now apply to courses that still have vacancies .
January – April 2022 Apply for funding . You don ’ t have to wait until you have received an offer .
December 2021 – April 2022 Once we make you an offer , you will be invited to a subject-specific Applicant Experience Day ( see page 9 ). This is a great opportunity to have a more focused look at your chosen subject area .
January 2022 onwards You can apply for a place in halls as soon as you have firmly accepted your place to study here . Visit our website for any accommodation deadlines .
Early May 2022 You can accept your offer at any time but if you haven ’ t done so yet , now is the time to do it .
July – August 2022 Register with your university online .
July – August 2022 Exam results . All being well , we will confirm your place with us . Clearing and Confirmation opens . September 2022 Start your course . Register for the Parents ' Welcome event .
