Accounting and Business Management combines financial planning with knowledge of people and processes in the business world. You will learn techniques and understand concepts and debates in organisational behaviour, financial and management accounting, operations management and strategy. The course will enhance your career prospects in a range of business contexts. It is also recognised by global professional accountancy bodies offering a number of important exemptions from their professional exams. You will build your understanding of business strategy, behaviour and performance in the global context. Our computer laboratories, equipped with Bloomberg terminals and Sage accounting software will allow you to prepare, analyse and interpret accounting data using real world examples. You can complement this practical experience by opting for a placement year between your second and third year of study. This will provide an excellent starting point for your career after Keele.
