330 | Student Finance There are a range of bursaries and scholarships available at Keele, as well as individual awards that may be available through your academic School whilst you study here. Student Finance Student Finance The following information is for UK students only. For overseas students visit keele.ac.uk/studentfunding Scholarships and Bursaries These are awards from Keele University that you don’t need to apply for or repay. If you meet the eligibility criteria you will automatically be allocated the award: • Keele University Bursary: This is an award of £1,000 in cash per year. To receive this award you must have a household income of £20,000 or below and be, liable for the full annual tuition fee * • Study Abroad Bursary (UK Students Only): This award is available to some students taking part in our Study Abroad programme for a full year. Please see keele.ac.uk/student- funding for further information and eligibility. Other Funding • Loans for Tuition: Eligible students are entitled to apply for full tuition fee loans which are paid straight to the University. You do not have to pay anything until after you have graduated and earn above a certain amount. For more information gov.uk/student-finance • Loans for Living Costs: Eligible students can also take out a maintenance loan to help pay for things like accommodation, food, transport and books. The maximum amount available depends on household income and where you’re studying and living.
