Law with Criminology
LLB (Hons)
Why study this course?
Our programme provides a strong foundation for developing an understanding
of, and building towards a career in, criminal justice and related areas.
On Law with Criminology, you will learn the key principles and doctrines
underlying English, European and International law and develop an
understanding of its social, political, historical and comparative contexts.
Practical experience could be developed by participating in mooting
(practising oral arguments), client interviewing, and volunteering
as a Community Legal Companion as part of our innovative CLOCK
programme. You will also explore questions such as: what are the
relationships between the courts and other branches of criminal justice?
And how does the law influence policing, the prison system or the
rehabilitation of offenders?
