Studying abroad gives students the
opportunity to enhance their degree
programme experience gaining a
global perspective through a period
of study at a partner university.
The language and culture may be
different for day-to-day living but
your study programme will be in
English through one or two of our
more than 80 partner institutions.
Students are encouraged to consider
the International Year which
provides two semesters of flexible
learning and the opportunity to
enhance and complement your
Keele degree.
The International Year takes place
between Years 2 and 3. Some
degree programmes might also
offer the Single-Semester Exchange
which takes place in Year 2.
Studying abroad helps you stand
out to employers. Learn more at

“Studying abroad was an incredibly 'eye
opening' experience - making friends for
life. It helped me realise how capable I
am in establishing a successful new life
in a new country. ”
