The field of medical bioscience is all about the
human body, healthcare and disease. From this
course, you will gain a broad knowledge in human
health with a focus on medical/molecular
diagnostics and medical biotechnology.
A special feature of the degree is its specific
development for the Malaysian context, primarily
achieved by the inclusion of suitable examples and
case studies in the tropical environment. An applied
research project is available as an elective unit, so
you can undertake meaningful research and further

“The one thing I loved most about my
student life at Monash was the time
I went on the campus exchange
program to Monash Clayton for one
semester, which was an amazing
experience and definitely broadened
my horizons. I love the friendships
made throughout my years in
university, and I also like how
Monash provides us with top notch
facilities conducive to learning.”
