SEM-318 Leadership : a Question of Chromosome This course will introduce students to theories of leadership with a special emphasis on women . In a world traditionally dominated by male leadership , this course will explore the challenges and prejudices that women face when seeking and attaining leadership roles that often call for nonconventional and radical approaches . This course will introduce both historical and contemporary women who have adapted theories of leadership , through determination and grit , which has paved the way for the mantra " the future is female ." The course addresses the Sisters of Mercy critical concern of women and meets the University ' s definition of writing intensive .
