Emphasis is placed on the development of skills essential for using health and physical examination as tools for nursing assessment . Normal and abnormal history and physical assessment findings are differentiated . Biological , psychosocial , spiritual and cultural dimensions of the individual are explored . Health promotion strategies including risk factor reduction as they relate to the adoption of healthy lifestyles are identified . Opportunities are provided to practice health assessment . |
