Biology Research |
This is an independent course of research under the direction of a member of the science faculty . Students will participate in a research project involving a literature review , laboratory research , and data analysis . Students will be expected for formalize their experience with a presentation in written , oral or poster format . Students may earn research credit more than once , but only 3 credits may be used to satisfy the biology major requirements . Permission of instructorrequired . |

This course will prepare students to conduct research or participate in an internship in the sciences . The course must be taken prior to or in conjunction with enrollment in BIO 421 or BIO 440 . May be taken more than once . |
