Required Courses : A minimum of 18 credits is required for the Data Analytics Minor : CIS 115 , CIS 116 , CIS 215 , CIS 312 , CIS 401 , and PSY 111 . All prerequisites for the chosen courses must be satisfied . Course substitutions will be considered at the discretion of the Program Coordinator .
External Transfers : A maximum of six credits may be transferred from another institution . Course credits from another accredited institution will be accepted if they correspond to the courses offered at Gwynedd Mercy University and if the course grades are C or higher ( C- is not an acceptable grade for transfer ).
Academic Standards : A minimum grade of C must be earned for each course . " C- " is not acceptable .
Digital Communication

Program Description : Students develop content creation skills that match today ’ s strategic communication needs , building a digital portfolio with hands-on courses exploring basic website deployment , podcasting and video production .
Program Student Learning Outcomes : PLO1 : Gather , analyze , and communicate information and data from a variety of relevant and credible sources . PLO2 : Produce targeted , audience specific content . PLO3 : Demonstrate technical competency across digital and social media .

Admissions Requirements and Procedures : Students earning a degree in any major may earn a minor in Digital Communication by completing 18 credits in required courses . Students should consult with the Digital Communication program coordinator to complete the appropriate minor addition form .
Internal / External Transfers : A maximum of six credits may be transferred from another institution . All prerequisites for the chosen courses must be satisfied . To receive credit for courses taken elsewhere , submission of a transcript must be submitted , and the program may request a course syllabus to appropriately evaluate course equivalency .
