For Non-Term students not attending class does not automate an official withdrawal . If a student stops attending a class and / or classes in which they are enrolled and does not notify their adviser of their intent to withdraw via email , the student will be administratively withdrawn and financially responsible for the total cost of the class and / or classes they stopped attending .
For Term and Non-Term students taking a class or classes at another institution through our Acadeum partnership , the student must adhere to drop period of the partner institution , or they will be responsible for the Acadeum fee that is charged to our University . This fee varies by institution and the amount owed will be communicated to the student by the Bursar ’ s office after the drop or withdraw from the partner institution is complete .
Student Health Insurance- Term Programs
All full-time undergraduate students enrolled in a Term Program are required to carry health insurance . If a student is not otherwise insured , the University has arranged for basic coverage . A fee for this coverage will be assessed for all full-time students . This fee will be waived upon presentation of proof of insurance to the University ’ s Insurance Carrier . For the health insurance fee to be waived , students must complete an online waiver before the deadline established each year . Students who fail to meet the deadline are automatically covered and charged for insurance . There are no exceptions after the deadline has passed . Information about the Health Insurance Plan may be obtained from the Office of Campus Health or the Bursar ’ s office . Please know , the student health insurance online waiver process is different than the proof of insurance required to live in the residence halls or play sports on campus .
Resident Student
To be eligible to move into the residence halls a student must be officially registered for 12 + credits each semester and be in good financial standing ( No billing holds ). Billing holds that prevents a student from officially registering and attending classes also prevents a student from moving into the residence halls .
Financial matters can be discussed with the staff at the Campbell Solution Center or Bursar ’ s Office . All students must complete their financial aid paperwork and have their funding in place prior to moving into the residence halls or attending any class at the beginning of each academic semester . For residence students , having their funding in place means they must be paid in full or signed up for the payment plan and have paid their first installment payment . If you do not have your funding in place based on the above specifications , you will not be cleared to move into the residence halls . You will be asked to leave and will not be able to move yourself or your belongings into the residence halls until your funding is in place .
