Program Description : A student who wishes to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science follows a four-year program or a five-year program . The first three years ( 90 +) credits are taken on the university campus . The final year of the Medical Laboratory Science program takes place in a 12- month program at a hospital-based NAACLS approved affiliate School of Medical Laboratory Science to which the student must apply and be accepted to attend . At the MLS hospital-based program the student will have didactic , laboratory and clinical education on a full-time , 40 hours a week basis at the affiliate
