AY2023-2024 Undergraduate Academic Catalog inclusive academic setting . Integrated Studies offers two-year or four-year non-degree certificates for
students to progressively develop skills each semester related to academic interest , employment , communication , healthy living , and technology with the ultimate goal of increased independence , meaningful employment and self-actualization . Students will audit 16-20 university classes ( equivalent to 45-53 credit hours ) or 32-40 university classes ( equivalent to 93-117 credit hours ) throughout the program . Each student could enroll in up to 24 credits if they demonstrate success in audited courses and follow the process for non-matriculating students .
Program Learning Outcomes : PLO1 : Upon completion of program , and completing internships each semester , graduates will be employed within their field of interest within 6 months ; PLO2 : Integrated Studies students will identify an academic area of interest , actively participate in courses within their generalized education as well as their core academic focus , and demonstrate continued academic growth ; PLO3 : Integrated Studies students will demonstrate increased autonomy in decision-making , selfawareness , and problem solving ; PLO4 : To be meaningfully engaged in a community of college learners , Integrated Studies students will connect to university resources , campus life and student organizations based on person-centered plan ; PLO5 : Based on person-centered plan and individualized growth areas , Integrated Studies students will demonstrate progressive growth within the domains of independent living skills ( such as : living on campus , navigating within the community , managing personal finances and schedule , etc .)

Academic Admissions Criteria ( Please see non-academic admissions criteria below ): In order to be
admitted into GMercyU ' s Integrated Studies program , each student must :
• Have exited high school
• Have functional literacy skills and basic computer literacy in order to comprehend basic safety signage , complete assignments with supports , and navigate the campus independently
• Have the potential to successfully achieve goals and the course requirements set out for an Audit designation with minimal support
• Be able to appropriately participate in 75-minute classes with necessary accommodations in place to function independently in social situations such as being alone in the Griffin Complex , academic buildings , dining hall , etc .

Academic Standards / Grade Requirements : Students will audit up to five university courses per semester ( 10-15 credits ) related to their academic and employment goals . Given the audit credential , students will not earn a letter grade or GPA , but will receive feedback from faculty on assignments throughout the semester and will receive a final evaluation of their academic skills , progress toward learning objectives and narrative feedback which will be used to determine satisfactory academic progress .
