Program Description : The core curriculum is a 45-credit hour , 80-week program designed to expand a student ’ s critical thinking skills while providing the student with a solid foundation in business administration principles and their contemporary applications in the workplace .
Program Student Learning Outcomes : PLO1 : Clearly and effectively prepare written business communications . PLO2 : Apply knowledge and skills to make appropriate business decisions . PLO3 : Apply ethical and moral decision-making principles to business situations . PLO4 : Demonstrate decision- support tools required for business professionals . Academic Criteria for Admission , Progression and Retention Program Admissions Requirements and Procedures
• A completed , signed application
• A personal statement
• A minimum cumulative GPA of a 2.0 ( on a 4-point scale ) for all college credits previously attended
• Equivalent of two or more years of professional work experience
Academic Standards / Grade Requirements : Concentration in Organizational Management Requirements : A grade of “ C ” or better in : ACC 301 ; BUS 212 , 213 , 214 , 310 , 312 , 323 , 342 , 405 , 4001 ; Concentration in Healthcare Administration : A grade of “ C ” or better in : ACC 302 ; BUS 213 , 310 , 323 , 342 , 378 , 405 , 4001 ; HA 312 , 401 , 402 .
Attendance Policies Same as university
Academic Progress , Probation , and Program Dismissal : If the student ’ s cumulative grade point average falls below a 2.0 , they may be placed on Academic Probation and will have until the conclusion of the next six credits to improve their cumulative grade point average . If the student fails to improve their cumulative grade point average to a 2.0 or greater within the next six credits , the student may be dismissed from the program . A course may be repeated once . If the student fails to receive a “ C ” grade or better after repeating a course once , the student , regardless of their cumulative grade point average may be dismissed from the program .
