First-time Student : The requirements for a first-time student entering the University include the following :
• Completed application
• Evidence of high school graduation which can be an official transcript or a copy of their General Education Development ( GED ) tests results . The high school transcript must show satisfactory completion of High School Math ( Algebra , Calculus or Trigonometry ) and Science ( Biology and recommended Physics )
• Have a combined Math and Verbal component of the SAT exam of 1060 or higher , or an ACT score of 22 or higher ( Applicants who choose not to submit SAT and ACT test scores must provide one letter of recommendation from a high school science teacher and schedule an inperson or virtual admissions interview with the Admissions team .)
• Submit a letter of recommendation concerning the moral character of the prospective student from the school from which the applicant is enrolled or graduated from or other professional source .
• A shadow experience observation in a radiation therapy department to include a written report on the observation and its impact on the decision to enter the profession . Additionally , the therapist facilitating the shadow experience is required to complete an evaluation form on applicant .
Once the requirements for admission are met , the applicant will be scheduled for an interview with radiation therapy program faculty . During this process various policies and procedures will be reviewed .
Transfer students
• The college transfer student needs to meet the admission criteria of the University and the Radiation Therapy Program .
• Complete an online application .
• Applicants must be proficient in math and science with college courses in Anatomy & Physiology I & II , with a lab ( online labs not accepted ), an upper-level Math ( both with a transfer grade of “ C ” or higher ), English 101 , Computer Science and Public Speaking / Communication classes , with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher .
• A letter of recommendation concerning the character and promise as a student from the school
• from which the applicant is enrolled or graduated .
• A shadow experience observation in a radiation therapy department to include a written report on the observation and how the experience impacted the decision to enter the profession . Additionally , the therapist facilitating the shadow experience is required to complete an evaluation form on applicant .

Radiographers
• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited program in Radiologic Technology .
• Achieved at a minimum an Associate degree from an accredited academic institution .
• Be a registered or registry eligible Radiologic Technologist ( before the end of the Fall Semester of the Junior year ).
• Complete an online application .
• Must submit all transcripts from all educational institutions attended .
