Non-Academic Criteria for Admission , Progression and Retention
The University conducts a " credit by examination program " whereby students may take examinations for academic credit as applicable to a given program . This program allows knowledge and experience attained through non-formal and non-traditional approaches to learning to be recognized . Certain controls and restrictions by the Accrediting agencies for Allied Health Programs do not permit the use of the above procedure for challenging courses in the concentration . Academic courses , however , may be challenged through the procedure outlined in the University catalog available online at www . gmercyu . edu .
